Require approval before registration
Keep a free registration page curated: visitors still submit the form, and you decide who gets registered.
Capture first, register later
Turn on Require approval in the page Settings step. New free sign-ups stay pending on Venue with a confirmation message for the visitor.
From the Registrants tab, approve or decline one request, or bulk-approve a selection. Only an approval runs the usual registration path, including capacity and session checks, whichever event platform the page is built on.
What the setting will not do
You cannot turn the setting off while anyone still needs a decision.
Paid registration keeps its existing Stripe path and never goes through this review.
